Η Διεθνής Ένωση Πλαστικής Χειρουργικής ISAPS εξέδωσε το πρώτο ενημερωτικό έντυπο για το έτος 2009, το οποίο περιλαμβάνει εκτενή αναφορά στο 2ο Διεθνές Συνέδριο Πλαστικής Χειρουργικής Symmetria, που διοργανώθηκε από την Ιατρική Ομάδα του κέντρου Symmetria το Νοέμβριο του 2008 στην Αθήνα. Η αναφορά της ISAPS μιλά με ιδιαίτερα κολακευτικά λόγια για το επιστημονικό υπόβαθρο και την οργανωτική επιτυχία του συνεδρίου, που προσέλκυσε ιατρούς από 28 χώρες.

The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) have issued their first newsletter for 2009 with a variety of interesting topics, among which there is extensive reporting  on Symmetria’s 2nd International Meeting, hosted in Athens in November 2008. This world class event brought together distinguished plastic and aesthetic surgeons from around the world in a unique panel that has never been presented in Greece before. International speakers included Javier de Benito from Spain, Ruth Graf and Joao Goes from Brazil, Per Heden and Jan Jernbeck from Sweden, Foad Nahai, Malcolm Paul and Tom Biggs from the US and many others. Ivo Pitanguy, who was unable to join the event due to unforeseen circumstances addressed the audience during the Opening Cereromony of the event, which attracted delegates from 28 counties.
