Micro-needling Hair Repair

Micro-needling is a treatment that exploits the use of micro-needles to transport active ingredients into the scalp to nourish and stimulate hair follicles.

How does the treatment work?

Micro-needling hair repair is applied to men and women to stimulate hair follicles and result in improved and enhanced hair growth on the scalp. The technique is based on the use of a cylinder composed of microneedles 0,5-1 mm in length, which is utilized to open channels in the skin. Through those channels an appropriate solution is injected, containing a complex of hair growth ingredients, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, in short all those elements that are necessary for the nutrition and healthy growth of hair follicles. At the same time the technique improves blood flow to the skin of the scalp, thus creating an enabling environment for hair growth enhancement.

What are the contraindications for the treatment?

Contraindications are an inflammation of the scalp and allergy to any of the injected materials.

How many sessions are needed and what is the cost?

Usually a series of six sessions are performed. The cost for a six to eight session program is 1250€.
